It’s time to charge
We’re connecting independent brands, electric vehicles, consumers and charging points into a single network.
The Charge Economy
EV owners will be more inclined to travel to places with easy top-up facilities, and many will also want activities, retail, food and drink facilities while they charge. A constantly available electric charging infrastructure will be crucial for helping consumers adopt EV technology, supporting the shift to a top-up charge mentality while stimulating business opportunities around hot spot areas.
Infrastructure
Public charging coverage is inadequate, while 70% of consumers say they believe the majority of cars will become fully electric when charging infrastructure becomes as easily available as gas stations. Only 40% of consumers in the US have access to charging points. 82% of EV industry professionals say investment in public charge point infrastructure is part of, or critical to their strategy.
Adoption and Awareness
Generational differences may have the greatest impact on EV adoption, signaling an irreversible shift towards electric vehicles. Younger consumers believe that environmental issues will have a greater impact than their older peers, with 70% of millennials saying pollution concerns will drive widespread EV adoption, compared to just half of baby boomers (51%).
Efficiency
Internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles convert the reciprocating movement of pistons into rotary motion. This conversion causes a major loss of efficiency and produces significant friction and vibration. Electric vehicles don’t need to convert reciprocating motion into rotary motion because the EV’s electric motor is already spinning. This leads to a 50% gain in efficiency (30% for ICE vs. 80% for EV) with only minimal friction and vibration reducing operating and maintenance costs.
We have identified an opportunity in the EV charging market to provide a comprehensive and easy-to-use software solution for EV charging stations. Our platform manages and operates EV charging stations on a subscription or pay-per-use basis. It includes features for managing and scheduling charging sessions, tracking usage and billing, and monitoring and maintaining the charging equipment. By providing this service, we aim to make EV charging more efficient and cost-effective for independent brands while also providing a better experience for EV drivers. With the increasing adoption of electric vehicles, the demand for charging infrastructure is growing and we are positioning ourselves to benefit from this growth. As an investor, you would be investing in a company that is at the forefront of this growing market and has the potential for significant returns on investment.
